THE PROBLEM: Hard-finished rooms hold sound - teachers strain their voices, pupils miss words, rooms feel chaotic. BB93 recommends 0.6-0.8s mid-frequency reverberation for most teaching spaces; many older rooms sit well above this. OUR APPROACH: We measure the room, calculate the absorption required, then supply and install ceiling rafts and wall absorbers - installation outside teaching hours where needed. Formal BB93 compliance work is delivered with a partner acoustic consultant.
